From Glasgow by Car
Drive towards Stirling then take the A9 to Perth. Continue on the A9 towards Inverness. About 5 miles after passing Pitlochry take a right turn off the A9 signposed to Blair Atholl.


From Edinburgh by Car
Take the M90 to Perth then stay on the Perth ring road and take the A9 towards Inverness. About 5 miles after passing Pitlochry take a right turn off the A9 signposted to Blair Atholl.


At Blair Atholl, from the South
From the A9 take the road into Blair Atholl. Drive into Blair Atholl then turn left onto Invertilt Road. (On the main road opposite Invertilt Road there is a large brown tourist information sign pointing to the "River Tilt Park".)

On Invertilt road take the first left into the "River Tilt Park" / "The Moorings".

Drive straight ahead through the park entrance and take a short single track paved road that bends right down a little hill into the Moorings Holiday Lodge area.

Keep going straight on this road until it ends. When the road ends you'll be parked at Sinclair lodge with the Lodge on your left.

By train
Blair Atholl railway station is a short walk from the Lodge. (Don't expect a taxi to be waiting for you!)

The Blair Atholl station is on the main line from Perth to Inverness. So, you can easily get a train from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Inverness or London to Blair Atholl.

However, not all trains stop at the Blair Atholl station! In some cases you need to get off/on the train at Pitlochry - 5 miles from Blair Atholl. So, make sure you double check that your train stops at Blair Atholl and not just Pitlochry!
